So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
BARTENDER ON BOARD (BOB) is my entrepreneurial dream come true after many years in Corporate America. I was formerly a Trainer and Sales Engineer in healthcare education. After being laid off from a company with 10 years of service… BOB was born. I was raised in Kingston, New York during my primary years, I now reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I hold an MBA, I am a commissioned Notary Public of the State of Georgia and the mom of two at Middle Georgia State University (GO KNIGHTS!).

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Per blog, WINSPIREME.com, organizations and private citizen are being held accountable for the actions of their guests after they leave an event where alcohol is served, so it’s crucial to obtain the correct permits from the local government. However, many other rules exist regulating the sale and consumption of alcohol on a local level. They can often seem confusing and are oft time contradictory. Licensing and Event Permitting has proven to be the most challenging in this industry.

Bartender on Board – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Bartender on Board (“BOB”) is Atlanta’s premier upscale alcohol beverage caterer based in Avondale Estates. What sets BOB apart from the rest? We are a licensed alcohol caterer. That means, unlike most “bartending” services, we can offer you full service, open bar and cash bar options without you having to purchase, provide or transport the alcohol! Bartender on Board also supplies full service bartending services.

Our professional staff of Executive Bartenders offers a wide array of hourly services to ensure your plans are carried out seamlessly. We have a team comprised of professional, experienced, licensed and insured bartenders. We specialize in wedding receptions, corporate events, private parties, outside festivals and more.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Bartender on Board was the Executive Bartending and Beverage Sponsor of The Boss Blueprint Mixer Networking Event in July 2017. This event was the brainchild of Terri Watson, student of West Georgia College and a 21-year-old entrepreneur, this mixer catered to young aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses who wished to create more opportunities for themselves through networking! The event featured many up and coming entrepreneurs ages 21 to 30. I am most proud to have been in a position to sponsor a free Beer and Wine Bar for the event. These young entrepreneurs were awe inspiring. The conversations were dynamic and the engagement created actionable and completed deliverables. I was proud to support such a moment as the CEO of BOB.
